Poppy Seed is an oilseed which cultivated for over 3000 years. Poppy seeds are obtained from the opium poppy (Papaver somniferum), harvested from dried seed pods and used as an ingredient in many foods (mainly used in Turkish, European, Jewish, Indian, Iranian cuisine) also pressed to yield poppy seed oil.

Turkey is the biggest producer of poppy seeds, with a 42.36% share in the world poppy seed production.

We are able to supply Organic and Conventional Poppy Seeds Blue and White direct from origin or as customs cleared duty paid through our Dutch company Osiedle Centroom B.V.
